"Catholic School Week"

Catholic School Week has begun! Saturday night January 30 it was kicked off with our 'Family Pasta Dinner.' Today Catholic School Week continues with our Open House. The Open House will take place from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

"High School"

This week is a very exciting week. Our Grade 8 students will begin to hear of their acceptance to our local Catholic high schools this week. This is a very exciting time.

"Sr. Pat Butler Visit"

On Tuesday January 12 Sr. Pat Butler SC from the Archdiocese Office of Education came for her annual visit. Sr. Pat toured the school and visited with Mr. Michael Butchko. It was a very good visit!!

"Middle States Evaluation Visit"

The Chair of Hillside Catholic Academy's Middle States Evaluation Team has been named. It is Mrs. Andrea F. Triner from Our Lady of Calvary School in Philadelphia,PA. The team will be visiting the school in late April of this year.

This morning Hillside Catholic Academy will honor Grade 7 student Andre Perez as our, "Art Student of the Month." This program is new this year and is the work of our Art teacher Mrs. MaryEllen McVeigh.

"Welcome to the New Year"

Hillside Catholic opens 2010 with great anticipation. We will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week with a new series of events. The most important event will take place in April when we are visited by our Middle States Evaluation Team. It should be a very exciting year.
