"A Traditional Education in the Modern World"

On a recent visit to Hillside Catholic Academy, Fr. Kevin Hanbury (Superintendent of Schools and Vicar of Education for the Archdiocese of Newark) noted that Hillside Catholic Academy was "one of the few school which still teaches Geography." This is because at Hillside Catholic Academy we stress the basics. All of this is consistent with our mission to offer a "quality education in a faith based environment."

"Hillside Catholic Academy Gives in the Catholic Tradition"

You may have heard the expression, "To those who much is given much is expected." This could be the motto of Hillside Catholic Academy. This year we have broken records in our giving. Hillside Catholic Academy raised $2,500.00 with our U.N.I.C.E.F. Halloween drive. During our Thanksgiving Food Drive, we contributed to the Hillside Food Pantry, stocking it with enough food to feed many, many families.

We are now preparing to take part in the St. Jude's Math-a-thon. The children will do Math problems and raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. By taking part in these worthy causes Hillside Catholic Acadmey lives the words of Jesus, "When you do this for one of the least of my brothers you did it for me."
