"A Faith Based Education"
The faith-based education of Hillside Catholic Academy is no more evident then in Mrs. Pat D'Agostino's First Grade class. This week the students learned how they should honor their mothers and fathers by helping out at home. "Hillside Catholic Academy Gives in the Catholic Tradition"
You may have heard the expression, "To those who much is given much is expected." This could be the motto of Hillside Catholic Academy. This year we have broken records in our giving. Hillside Catholic Academy raised $2,500.00 with our U.N.I.C.E.F. Halloween drive. During our Thanksgiving Food Drive, we contributed to the Hillside Food Pantry, stocking it with enough food to feed many, many families.
We are now preparing to take part in the St. Jude's Math-a-thon. The children will do Math problems and raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. By taking part in these worthy causes Hillside Catholic Acadmey lives the words of Jesus, "When you do this for one of the least of my brothers you did it for me."
